Hello or Annyeonghaseyo! Welcome to my blog. If you want to start a small business abroad on a shoestring budget, then this is the site for you. I’ll talk about the early stages of starting a business, creating products, social media strategies and things you should study before you pack your bags to begin a journey of a lifetime.
Erica Dozier is the creator of Korean Convenience. She is a freelance creative writer, entrepreneur, food enthusiast, and K-pop and K-drama lover.
She lives in Los Angeles, CA where she had several jobs as an administrative assistant, closed caption technician and a cable/internet technical support representative. Erica graduated from California State University Northridge where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Television with a minor in Creative Writing.
How It All Started
The beginning of her travel adventure began with an introduction to Korean dramas and music. After studying the Korean language, she followed her love for the local cuisine and desire to become immersed in the culture all the way to Seoul, South Korea.
The Merriam Webster dictionary defines the word “convenience” as; “The state of being able to proceed with something with little effort or difficulty.” As a foreigner, she experienced the love, frustration and time-consuming task of trying to figure out how to do laundry, order food at nearby restaurants, subway travel and a whole host of other daily tasks. If you want to read more about her journey began to check out Moving Abroad To South Korea.
